Background

The challenge

Many bakeries already have an online catalogue, but ordering still feels like a brochure: products in a row, a small add-to-cart button, and a long checkout. Someone who just wants bread for tomorrow morning has to get through too many steps. This concept asks one question: how fast can a person go from seeing a product to a placed order?

Our solution

We designed a short shopping path. Categories, occasions (breakfast, meetings, birthdays), and search live in one place. The cart is a side panel with a free-delivery progress bar and a promo field, so shoppers never leave the page. Checkout is three cards, recipient, delivery slot, and payment, with the summary always in view. It all runs in a single file with no libraries, and the cart is kept on the device.

Outcomes

What the client gets

  • From home page to a placed order takes three steps: choose, set a slot, pay.
  • Shoppers see the final total, including discount and delivery, before reaching checkout.
  • Product illustrations are SVG, so pages stay light and sharp on every screen.
  • The pattern can be wired to real stock, payments, and delivery when it becomes a client project.
